Frankie Ballard Just Happened to Give Us a Call to Talk Marriage, the Northeast, and Music

Frankie Ballard called into our show on Thursday (April 13) and we got a chance to talk about life on the road, his new love, and weather he would choose Sunshine or Whiskey.

You know him from his smash hit's "Helluva Life", "Young and Crazy", "It all Started With a Beer", and "Sunshine and Whiskey", but there's probably a lot you didn't know about Country Star Frankie Ballard.

On Thursday (April 13) we got a call from Frankie and got a chance to talk to him about his life, his new bride, some backstage stories and most important if he would choose Sunshine or Whiskey. Check it out:

Born and raised in Battle Creek, Michigan, Frankie's career got jump started in 2008 when he placed first in Michigan during Kenny Chesney's "Next Big Country Star" competition.

According to Wikipedia.com, he made his debut appearance at the Grand Ole Opry in January of 2011, five months before his first album was even released in May of 2011. Since then he has released two more albums and had three of his songs hit #1 on the Country Charts, he's also opened for both Florida Georgia Line and Lady Antebellum.

He recently married his girlfriend Christina Murphy in March of this year.
