Sara Cybart of the Hindley School in Darien has been recognized as our WOLF September Teacher of the Month.

Sara had been a teacher for many years at the Rockwell Elementary School in Bethel, now she's made the move to Darien and the Hindley School.

It's been more challenging now than ever for teachers, having just come off about a year of distance learning, and now back in the classrooms full time.

Sara was nominated by her friend Brittany who had some pretty nice things to say about this exceptional teacher.

Sara is a beautiful person inside in out. Not only was she a friendly, kind, and considerate co-worker but she is also someone I am proud to call my friend. Teaching through a pandemic was more challenging in more ways than one, but Sara took those challenges head on. She is a caring teacher who also sets high expectations for her students. She has an ability to connect with her students and make each of them feel special.

If you know a teacher who goes above and beyond, you can nominate them by just filling out the simple entry form below.

Each month, we'll select a different teacher and honor them with a fantastic meal at Barbarie's Black Angus Grill in Danbury. Also, every teacher of the month chosen will get an official 'Wolf Teacher of the Month' certificate to commemorate the honor.

So, nominate a teacher in your town who does so much in shaping our kids lives, then be listening on the last Friday of each month at 3:20 PM, that's when Bill Trotta will announce the monthly winner. So make sure you nominate a teacher today. Any teacher at any grade level, from pre-school to college professor are eligible.
