Famous Makeup Artist / Social Media Sensation James Charles Coming to Waterbury

If you want to grab the attention of a room full of beautiful people, shout out "Oh my God! There's a new James Charles Palette!" and then watch the fashion conscious rush to get a look at your phone.

James Charles has made a mountain of money and found incredible fame over the past couple of years. He's a wildly talented make up artist and social media influencer, with over 17,000,000 followers on Instagram and well over a billion views on his YouTube channel. Now he's about to embark on a national tour that includes a stop at Waterbury's Palace Theater on Sunday June 30

James is calling it "Sisters Tour," and the press release promises an evening of beauty tutorials, conversation, games, and surprise giveaways.

I saw a promotional ad for the event, and immediately called Mrs. Large, who peddles Mr. Charles' merchandise at Ulta Beauty in Waterbury. They say it's been tough to keep the Morphe James Charles Palette in stock, it's been a very hard-to-find item since its release.

The tickets range from the general admission price of $58 all the way up to Sisters VIP Experience, which are going for $525.

I spoke with Sheree Marcucci, the marketing Director for the Palace, and she expects this event to sell out very quickly. There is no pre-sale, and the tickets go up for grabs Friday April 26 at 1:00 PM.
