I love it when nationally-known celebrities appear at charitable events in their hometowns. It's a thrill to see folks like Denis Leary, Bernie Williams, Christian Siriano, and Baba Booey up close at a local Police vs Fire hockey game. If you hurry, there's a chance for you to be in the same room as Justin Long this weekend here in Connecticut.

American actor, comedian, screenwriter, and director Justin Long was born and raised in Fairfield, and he's going to be appearing in his hometown this weekend at a local movie festival. This Saturday, August 6, 2022, Sacred Heart University Community Theatre in Fairfield is featuring a Back to the Future I, II, III movie marathon, and self-proclaimed Back to the Future 'Superfan' Long will host the 8 PM showing.

In addition to the bragging rights of breathing the same air as the delicious Justin Long, the infamous DeLorean time machine from the flick will be parked out front of the theatre. My God, is that a generational TikTok/Instagram moment for you to capture with your kids. You, the DeLorean, and Justin Long, in Fairfield. Long has said in previous interviews that Back to the Future is his favorite movie, so I'm sure he'll be able to provide incredible inside knowledge, he's worked with so many that actually made the film.

Two other great things about the event: First, it's free, tickets are $0.00. As of right now, I just looked, there are probably less than 60 tickets left. Second - The event benefits The Hole in the Wall Gang, which I wholeheartedly support, in fact, read more about that below. Click HERE to see if you can snag a pair before they're gone.
