Latrell Sprewell was a four-time NBA All-Star who blew through his $100 million fortune and now his "Zombie" home is for sale.

On December 1, 1997 when he was playing for the Golden State Warriors, he apparently lost his temper, and choked his coach, P.J. Carlesimo, during a practice. The NBA suspended him for 68 games, and the Warriors terminated his contract.

During his 13 seasons in the NBA, Sprewell played for the Warriors, Knicks, and Timberwolves. According to foxsports.com, when the Timberwolves offered him a $27-30 million contract extension in 2005 he was insulted saying, "I've got a family to feed!" He played one more season with Minnesota without a contract and played miserably, which led to the end of his playing days.

He walked out on his family that he "had to feed" in 2007, and also walked away from the mortgage on his home in Purchase, NY.

According to innovationtrail.org, a "Zombie House" is defined as an abandoned property left unmaintained during mortgage foreclosure proceedings.  The home Sprewell purchased for $2.3 million in 2000 has been vacant since 2008 and is overrun with tall grass and fallen branches, but because it's in foreclosure it's on sale for a mere $1.5 million! Mr. Sprewell currently lives in a small apartment and has about $50,000 left of his $100 million.
