The celebration of Betty White continues across the Hudson Valley.

For the last few days, millions have been mourning the passing of legendary comedian and actress Betty White. The Golden Girl actress passed away at the age of 99 on the last day of 2021.

There have been several celebrations of Betty's life across the Hudson Valley. One Kinderhook bagel shop, Broad Street Bagel, made Betty White-themed lattes with fun names like The Proposal Latte and The Hot in Cleveland, both of which Betty starred in.

This weekend, a Beacon arcade bar has planned a special weekend that would make Betty proud.

In honor of Betty's upcoming 100th birthday, Happy Valley Arcade Bar on Main Street in Beacon is hosting a  Betty White Extravaganza. From Saturday, January 8th until Sunday, January 9th Happy Valley will:

-Play episodes of The Golden Girls on loop
- Serve Betty White-themed cocktails, like the Betty White Russian.
-Game quarters will be donated to ARF Beacon Animal Shelter.

If you didn't know, Betty was a huge supporter of animals, so donating a portion of the weekend to ARF makes so much sense. Betty would love it for sure.

Happy Valley writes on Facebook:

If you won’t Bea able to attend, your friends will Blanche in horror and you will undoubtedly Rue the day that you missed this Rose-y event.

Golden Girls fans will get it.

On what would have been Betty's 100th birthday, January 17th, you can catch a showing of Betty White:100 Years Young playing for audiences at Regal Galleria Mall Stadium 16 at the Poughkeepsie Galleria. The film will air at 1 PM, 4 PM and 7 PM. Tickets are on sale now.
