Dogs From Danbury + Ridgefield Will Represent At Puppy Bowl XVIII
Are you ready for some football? If your answer is no, then why not root for some hometown dogs in this years Puppy Bowl.
It's almost become as popular as the Super Bowl. For the last 18 years, Animal Planet will once again broadcast their highly anticipated Puppy Bowl. This year there are "3" four legged homnetown canines you can root for. Between the DAWS site in Danbury, PAWS in Norwalk, and ROAR Animal Rescue in Ridgefield, there are 3 local dogs participating, so Western Connecticut is well represented.
According to Discovery, the 18th annual Puppy Bowl will be broadcast on Animal Planet and Discovery+ starting at 2 PM on Super Bowl Sunday, and all the dogs completing were selected from just 70 different shelters from all over the country. This year also marks the fifth trip to the Puppy Bowl for members of the Danbury DAWS family.
