Does This Happen to You on Route 7 Too?

I am blessed with a very short commute to work. However, every morning, and I mean every morning, I get behind someone in the left lane of Route 7 who is dragging down the drive.

It shocks me that this is not a once-in-a-while occurance. I'm telling you, this happens every freakin' day. What's up with that? I have written about this before and I have researched the laws, etc and guess what? This is a law. You cannot drive slow in the left lane. Look at this from Jalopnik.com:

...a car driving below the "normal speed of traffic" should be driven in the right-hand lane. Because it indicates "normal speed" instead of saying "speed limit" a driver going above the speed limit but slower than most traffic is still in the wrong.

I listed the states below where this is a law. The handy dandy map on the article is really cool, but New York, although on the handy dandy map, is mistakenly left off of the list. I have added it to our list of states where you must move over to the right lane if you are driving slower than normal traffic.
