Now, the company has finally announced the big date for their Grand Opening — insert drum roll here — the chain has set August 9 as the big day. The store will officially open for business starting at 8:00 am that day and stay open until 10:00 pm.

The store also announced that they will be giving away reusable bags to the first 500 customers through the doors during the Grand Opening.

According to patch.com, to celebrate their new location, now in the Berkshire Shopping Center in Danbury, T.J. Maxx will be giving back to the Greater Danbury community by presenting Catholic Charities of Connecticut with a check for $10,000 during the ribbon cutting ceremony on August 9th at 7:30 am.

After the Grand Opening, the normal store hours will be Monday through Saturday 9:30 am until 9:30 pm, and on Sundays from 11 am until 8 pm.
