Danbury War Memorial Car Show Makes Long Awaited Return Labor Day Weekend

The pandemic shut down everything, which of course includes car shows. Danbury's War Memorial Car Show held its inaugural event almost three years ago, so I think it's about time for a "2nd" Annual, don't you?

With things sort of getting back to normal, the Danbury War Memorial Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Festival will return over Labor Day weekend. Sunday, September 4th, you'll see some of the most amazing vehicles of different makes, models, and years, from antiques and muscle cars to hot rods, Harley-Davidsons, and choppers, they will have a little bit of everything.

The car show will be held at 1 Memorial Drive in Danbury beginning around 10 am till 4 pm. In case Mother Nature plays havoc that Sunday, the rain date is Monday, September 5th, Labor Day. Judging of the cars will start at 1 pm with the trophies awarded at 3 pm. It's going to be a whole thing, and rightfully so, with a color guard at the opening ceremonies and registration begins at 8:30 am. There will also be a live DJ, raffles, tasty food from food trucks, and a local bus shuttle to make it super easy for the folks to get to.

So, if you have a nice ride and would like to participate, all you have to do is click right here for all the deets and how you can pre-register. All years are welcome for cars, trucks, and motorcycles with trophies, sponsor trophies, and dash plaques for the first 300 vehicles registered.

The pandemic slowed things down a bit, but things are ramping up again quite nicely with event after event happening all over the Greater Danbury area and the state of Connecticut.
