Danbury Police Seek Witnesses After Serious Accident on Padanaram Rd
Yesterday, June 24, a serious accident happened in the area of Padanaram Road in Danbury.
Danbury Police responded to a call around 10:22 PM Thursday night of a serious accident involving both a 2014 Audi A4 and 2010 Suzuki Kizashi. The accident took place in the area of Padanaram Road and Jeanette Street.
According to police, the Audi was traveling northbound and the Suzuki Kizashi was traveling southbound, both on Padanarm Road, when the cars collided into each other. After police investigated the scene, they believe that one of the vehicles crossed over the double yellow line causing the accident.
Both vehicle operators were transported to Danbury Hospital due to the injuries from the accident.
As the collision stays under investigation with Danbury Police Department's Traffic Unit, they are asking that anyone that may have any information regarding the accident or anyone who witnessed the accident to please contact Sgt. Rory DeRocco or PO Jason Lyder at 203-797-2157.
