It's raining, it's going to continue to rain, and there's that coronavirus out there. So we could all use some good news. Here's your feel good story of the day.

Quick action by the Danbury Fire Department saved some baby ducklings that were stuck in a drain at George and Williams Streets this afternoon (April 30.) With more rain expected tonight the timing could not have been better.

The Fire Department's Engine 22 removed the top of the drain and were able to enter and remove the baby ducks from the covert pipe. The Fire Department reports that the ducklings are fine, and that Mama was waiting patiently nearby for a happoy reunion with her babies.

Great job by the Fire Deparment's Engine 22! Thanks for all that you are doing for us.
