If there's one thing that firefighters love as much as battling a blaze, it's giving those fire department tours to the kids.

In this new age of social distancing, tours of the fire department are not being scheduled, and that has left quite a void for the staff at the Danbury Fire Department, so they have resorted to the next best thing: a virtual tour.

Now this is not just any virtual tour, they have taken things to the next level with an MTV Cribs style version of the tour.

Here's what they posted recently on their Facebook page:

With the recent events, fire station tours have been cancelled to limit the exposure to firefighters and our visitors. Our firefighters love giving tours of our stations. We take pride in our "second home" and love giving behinds-the-scene view to all our visitors. Well, since we can't have in-person tours, our personnel put this video together for everyone to tour our Fire Headquarters with a fun MTV Cribs spin!

When all of this is over, please contact us to schedule a school visit or fire station tour at 203-796-1550.
