One of our favorite Connecticut residents has just sold her Stamford home. As reported by the lovely Pam Brooks of our sister station, i95, Cyndi Lauper's house was on the market for $1.25 million. reports that after nine months of being on the market and two price reductions, the "Girl's Just Want to Have Fun" recording artist sold her home for far less than the original asking price.

Lauper fell in love with the property back in the 80s and it became the first home that she ever bought. The 3,884 square foot three bedroom, four bathroom home was built in 1975 for designer Vince Camuto. It sits on 1.58 acres and is located on Saddle Hill Road in North Stamford. The house finally sold for $804,625 in December, 2017.

Although she may no longer be a Nutmegger, she is really not that far away. Lauper is currently living in Manhattan. Take a look at this guided tour of the gorgeous Connecticut home:
