According to Hearst Connecticut Media, the state's reopening plan is currently in phase 2. Restaurants have been limited to 50 percent of their indoor seating capacity. Because of the unknown and uncertainties, I know restaurant owners are concerned and are currently trying to come up with a temporary fix to hold them over until next spring.

According to an article in the Newstimes, the owner of Wooster Hollow in Ridgefield, Ron Herman, says that he's "quite worried" about the fall and winter. Herman is working on erecting acrylic shields between booths, which he says will help him use more of the indoor space.

Some restaurants, like Tutti Pazzi in Stamford, are looking to rev up their outdoor heaters to extend the outdoor dining season, where he said that 80 to 90 percent of his business has come from over the summer.

According to an article on cnn.com, some restaurants are spending money on the restaurant's infrastructure, so they're able to stay open according to the new government mandates. Once the colder weather sets in, our Greater Danbury area restaurants would undoubtedly appreciate your take-out order.
