CT Restaurant Gains Spotlight as Gordon Ramsay Savors Signature Dishes
One Connecticut restaurant has some new bragging rights after a visit from world-renowned celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. Ramsay recently dined at the Shipwright's daughter in Mystic, Connecticut according to the restaurant's Facebook page.

They posted a photo with Ramsay and the staff along with a caption that read:
Thank you @gordongram for coming in to dine with us last night! Our team was so thrilled to have you in the kitchen! Check out guest star, our executive chef, David Standridge for seasons 23 & 24. Can’t wait to see for ourselves! "
I'm not much of a food TV fan but I love Gordon Ramsay. This is a man who knows how to make food and great TV. I'm sorry but I'm not sitting through 30 minutes to an hour of a food-based show without some conflict and homeboy knows exactly how to stir the pot. See what I did there?
My favorite is when he shames the restaurant owners who don't properly clean their kitchens. Those episodes are satisfying and terrifying all at once. No matter where I eat, I always take a hard look at my first bite, then I say a short prayer and dive in.
