The Rock and Roll history books were being re-written by bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam. At the same time, Rap music was in it's golden age and films like Goodfellas were making their way to the big screen. Generation X was grabbing hold of America and shaking it. The 90's definitely had some memorable personalities, some of which are headed to Connecticut to bask in the warmth of nostalgia.

CT Event Center Will Welcome 13 of the Biggest Celebrities of the 90s

Every decade is remembered in snapshots, for it's news stories, music, movies and entertainers. In the 90's, we were being introduced to a lot of new ideas and fresh faces. The following 13 people will always be synonymous with the 90's and it is one of the reasons we love them.

Wait, did I mention they're all coming to CT in March? These 90's personalities will be featured guests at 90's Con on March 17, 18 and 19 at the Connecticut Convention Center.

Connecticut has hosted 90's conventions in the past but I've never seen one with this much star power before. Here are some of the other stars coming to the very same event:

  • Amanda Bynes
  • Caroline Rhea
  • Dan Lauria
  • Elizabeth Berkley
  • Breckin Meyer

90's CON takes place at the Connecticut Convention Center on March 17, 18 & 19 in Hartford, CT. Tickets prices vary, there are 1-Day passes, weekend passes, VIP packages and different price tiers for kids and adults. A child can enter on a 1-day (Friday) pass for for just $5 and an adult full-weekend VIP pass is $250. What you will spend is very much up to what kind of experience you want to have. For more information or tickets to the convention go to ctconventions.com

We talked about the event on the Wednesday (2/15/23) edition of the I-95 Morning Show, listen below.

All Connecticut People Have at Least One of These 13 Things

Connecticut is a complex place with layers of issues. Our happiness mixes with our pain to create a Nutmeg stew that tastes like confusion. I can't sit here and say everyone in CT has all thirteen of these things. However, I can say everyone in CT has at least one of these 13 things.

See Newtown Sanitarium Through the Lens of an Award Winning Photographer

Fairfield Hills Psychiatric Hospital is located in Newtown, CT. The campus has been in varying degrees of restoration/development since it closed on 1995. The Town of Newtown owns it and has turned some structures into municipal buildings while others have been leased out to private businesses. The remaining vacant structures have become magnets for ghost hunters and artists.

Recently, I spoke to one of those artists, a photographer named Bryant Abbot. Our digital talk was unique and entertaining. Abbot shared his photos, his personal story and his inspirations with me. Below are his pictures of Fairfield Hills and some of what we talked about.
