I've seen different lists come out with different places that are considered some of the best in Connecticut and one thing that always gets me is Danbury never makes the list. Why? Danbury is a great city. We have so many things to do, so many food options and a great community. I feel like it consistently gets snubbed.

There are so many different things to take into consideration when you think about where you are trying to live. The website Niche ranked places based on cost of living, educational attainment, housing and public schools. From there, the website Stacker used that information to come up with the best places to live in every state.

I'm here to provide data from yet another list, this one talking about where the best place to live in Connecticut is. This one, I feel like I can agree with it. According to the list, the best place to live in Connecticut is West Hartford.

The website highlights the fall foliage, farmers markets, museums and history that West Hartford has to offer, but I believe it's a lot more than that too. If you've never been to Blue Back square, you're missing out. There is a great downtown over there and there's a lot to do. Restaurants, stores, entertainment, you name it. You also have the West Farms mall not too far down the road.

While West Hartford is a wealthier part of the state, I would still see it as a great place to live. You're close to Hartford if you need the city, but you're also in a nicer and smaller area. I highly recommend taking a stroll around there if you've never been. I think it's worth it.

While I still think Danbury deserves more love, I'm not going to disagree with this one. I think there are a lot of great places to live in Connecticut, but I'm happy with this answer.
