An ATM was stolen and actually ripped right out of Guida’s Restaurant in Connecticut.

State Police say it was taken out of the restaurant in Middlefield, and put in a van, according to Police have didn't reveal how much money was in the machine, as the front door of the eatery was pulled right out of the building by a utility van with chains wrapped around it the entry way.

Police report that a security camera captured images of a white GMC Savana van from Pennsylvania operated by up to three men wearing all black with masks. A burglar alarm was set off while all this was happening.

One would ask how they got the super heavy cash machine out of the building; they chained it up as well, and pulled it right out with their vehicle. The incident occurred on Meriden Road at 236 am Wednesday.

Authorities are asking that anyone with a tip regarding the theft of this ATM call Troop F at (860) 399-2100, or text TIP711 to 274637 (CRIMES). Any tip phoned or texted to them will be kept confidential.
