Connecticut Cops Seek Info On Facebook Marketplace Laptop Robbery

Connecticut State Police are seeking the public's help in identifying this suspect, who they say stole a laptop from it's owner in Litchfield.

Police posted the following on Saturday (1/6/24) to the Troop L Litchfield Facebook page.

Help us identify this robbery suspect

"Today (1/5/24) at approximately 2:30PM, Troopers responded to Hunter Drive in Litchfield for the report of an active robbery. The male pictured above forcefully took a brand new laptop directly out of the homeowner’s hands after agreeing upon a transaction through a FB Marketplace post. The suspect then jumped into the back seat of a black 2021 BMW 4dr sedan with New York plates “LAZ1224” and sped away from the scene.The same incident took place in Waterbury a short time after."

Police are urging anyone with information to contact Trooper Houle of Troop L at (860)-626-7900. Any and all calls will be kept confidential.

I love that camera technology gets better by the day, not just so we can I.D. "alleged" crooks but so we can get a clear look at their faces at the exact moment they believed they would get away with it.

Facebook Marketplace is just not worth it to me. Why do we want one another's garbage? Can we throw it out, or donate it instead? I'm all for being thrifty but making a few bucks is not worth potentially getting robbed. I think Nate Bargatze said it best...

Best case scenario: "we make $5." The worst case scenario....

4 Things CT Residents Should Know if They Love to be Naked

According to World Population Review, the State of CT Defines it's clothing laws in the following way:

Public indecency (Class B misdemeanor): A person is guilty of public indecency when he performs any of the following in a public place: 1) An act of sexual intercourse as defined in subdivision (2) of section 53a-65; or (2) a lewd exposure of the body with the intent to arouse or to satisfy the sexual desire of the person; or (3) a lewd fondling or caress of the body of another person. "Public place" means any place where the conduct may be expected to be viewed by others.

But that is boring and difficult to understand so I came up with four more things CT residents should know if they love to be naked.

Poll Ranks Greater-Danbury Towns 1-7 for Traffic Problems, Hat City Wins + Loses

Recently, I ran a poll to find out which town has the worst traffic problems in the Greater-Danbury area. I set out to rank the towns in order of the aggravation.

The towns up for consideration were:

Danbury
Brookfield
Bethel
Newtown
Ridgefield
New Milford
New Fairfield

The respondents were all current or former residents of the Greater-Danbury Area. I also made sure that I gathered some hilarious comments. #1 is the worst, having the most complaints and #7 is the best of the towns, receiving the least complaints. I counted all the votes from the respondents, and this is how it all worked out.
