Connecticut is Not Jam Packed With Sinners Like Nevada Apparently Is

The 7 Mortal Sins Are:

1. Lust
2. Gluttony
3. Greed
4. Sloth
5. Wrath
6. Envy
7. Pride

I'm pretty good at #'s 1, 5 and 7 and so too are the folks in Nevada according to a new study from Wallet Hub. "The Hub" as I now refer to it, set out to determine the most sinful states in America. They attached certain crime statistics in each state to a mortal sin. For instance, for Envy, they looked at:Thefts per capita, Identity Theft and Fraud.

Then for Lust, they used crime stats like: Teen birth rate, interest in XXX entertainment and Persons Arrested for Prostitution, and on we go, you get the idea. In the end, the Top 5 Most Sinful States were:

1. Nevada

2. California

3. Louisiana

4. Florida

5. Pennsylvania

If I was asked to guess the Top 5 most sinful states that is the answer I would have given. I think that is probably the same list most people would come up with so there are no real surprises here. However, I was curious to see where the Nutmeg State fell and the result WAS a bit surprising to be. I figured that CT would have been in the Top 10 but apparently we're much more righteous than I thought. Connecticut is one of the least sinful states in America, landing at #45. Hallelujah! We did it y'all!

That is great and all but I don't buy it for a second. I think Connecticut is just really good at keeping secrets and I've always felt that way. A lot of money and just a little bit of creativity can lock skeletons away for a very long time. Way to be sneaky creepy CT.
