Connecticut Forecast Calling For Temps to Heat Up For Father’s Day
So another weekend is approaching and of course we're looking for some nice weather to enjoy, and this weekend is a little extra special because it's Fathers Day.
The weather has been great over the last few days, sunshine and very comfortable temperatures, but will things continue as we head into the weekend?
Right now here's what the National Weather Service has to say.
As we get set to head into the weekend, the current weather pattern stays in place for one more day on Friday with lots of sun and nice temperatures in the low 80s, but then things start to change a bit. We could see some showers late Friday and very early on Saturday morning. Then it looks like the day will start off sunny, but a front could produce some showers and thundershowers Saturday afternoon and evening.
Those showers should be long gone by the time Father's Day gets here on Sunday, but you'll notice the temperatures increasing a bit and we can expect more humidity creeping back in with highs on Sunday reaching the mid to upper 80's. There will be plenty of sunshine for Dad for that backyard BBQ, a round of golf, or sometime out on the lake.
The humidity levels that we have become so accustomed to during this time of year will continue into the early part of next week. On Monday and Tuesday there is a chance of those afternoon or evening thundershowers.
Here's a look at your Connecticut weekend forecast:
- Friday: Sunny with a high near 82
- Friday Night: A chance of showers and thundershowers after 2 AM. Lows around 65
- Saturday: Look for a chance of showers and thundershowers in the afternoon and into the evening with daytime highs in the mid 80's
- Sunday: Sunny with more humidity and temperatures in the mid to upper 80s.
