CityCenter Danbury Announces 2019 Summer Concert Schedule

It's always a great day when CityCenter Danbury announces its summer concert schedule. We can look forward to a season full of great music on the Danbury Green.

CityCenter has announced three festivals and their concert lineup. One major change for this year is that the long-running Taste of Greater Danbury is now the Danbury Block Party, and will be a one-day event on September 7. In addition, the Danbury Street Festival will be held on June 1, and there will be a Country music festival and Food Truck rally on July 15.

Here is the lineup for the Concerts on the Green. All shows will have an opening act at 7 PM and the headliner at 8:

June 15: Symphony Pops Concert

June 28: beyond The Wall (Pink Floyd tribute)

July 12: Leighton Brothers Band (Funk, Rock and Blues)

July 19: Green Eyed Lady (Classic Rock)

July 26: Mighty Ploughboys (Irish Rock)

August 2: West End Blend (Funk and Soul)

August 7: Charles Ives Concert (Contemporary Classical)

August 9: Classay (Dominican)

August 16: Funky Dawgz Brass Band (New Orleans-style R&B)

August 23: Hailey Knox (Pop, national recording artist)
