Bad time to be an importer/exporter, I'll tell you.

What do I always say? I say it a lot, you know. Keep your eye on China -- that's what I always say. You see, when you take your eye off China, they act up. They are acting up again. "Tit for tatting" our trade taxes.

According to CT Post, China announced on Monday (May 13) that it will raise tariffs on $60 billion worth of U.S. goods. In 2018, China reportedly bought $943 million worth of product from Connecticut companies. The trade escalation between the U.S. and China has had, and could continue to have, a serious impact on Connecticut business, ranging from dairy farmers to manufacturers and everything in between. The new tariffs go into place June 1st.

Did you know China is known for the creation of silk? I, for one, can't trust country that invents a fabric with zero structural integrity and that makes me feel sexy all day. I'm too busy for sexy sensations from my outer/underwear. How can I be expected to concentrate on life's priorities when my clothing is giving me a sensual rubdown from 9 to 5?

Okay, I'm just playing around there, but I think it's best for everyone if this all comes to an agreement soon.
