Charlie Daniels Rolls Into Town, We Caught Up With Him
He's been making music for over 60 years, has sold millions of albums, is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, and the Grand Ole Opry, and you can catch him this Friday night at the Ridgefield Playhouse.
Best know, for his hits, "The Devil Went Down To Georgia", "The South's Gonna Do It Again", "In America", "Uneasy Rider", and "The Legend Of Wooley Swamp", Charlie has also been seen in movies and T.V. shows and was recently featured in a commercial for Geico.
Even though he's been making music for more than six decades, it wasn't until recently that Charlie was finally inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Daniels likes to hunt, fish, and snowmobile in his spare time. He's also an NRA member and has been married to his wife Helen for more than 50 years.
Charlie talked about all this when we got a chance to have him on the show with us. You can check out the entire interview here:
