CT's Taste by Spellbound owner goes pastry to pastry against Bobby Flay on television this Sunday.

Miriam Taylor will tell you she started out by baking just for fun. Now, she's the owner of Taste by Spellbound, a bakery she opened in 2012, which has now grown to three locations including Avon, South Windsor, and West Hartford.

This Sunday, February 9, you can watch Taylor on Food Network's competition show, "Beat Bobby Flay," according to an article in the Hartford Courant. The goal of the show is to beat the popular celebrity chef at his own game. This particular episode is titled "Chocolate Covered Clash," during which Taylor faces off with South Carolina pastry chef, DaVee Harned.

If Taylor is chosen the winner in the preliminary round, she goes on to battle Flay with a dish of their choice. Will Connecticut pastry chef, Miriam Taylor out-bake them all? Find out this Sunday at 10 p.m. on the Food Network.
