According to thehour.com, the star of the hit cable TV show Breaking Bad was on hand Monday morning to promote his line of new mezcal which is simply called Dos Hombre. The liquor was introduced earlier this year by Cranston, who along with his Breaking Bad co-star Aaron Paul, are responsible for its creation. The event also marks the first time the liquor was being sold in the State of Connecticut.

On the official Dos Hombre website, the two stars explained why they decided to hit the market with yet another mezcal.

We started Dos Hombres to create a Mezcal that we thought was perfect. A unique blend of the finest Espadin agave, hand-selected from the hillsides of a small village in Oaxaca, Mexico.

The appearance of Cranston was also billed by Stew Leonard's as a toast to a post-pandemic summer. Residents and shoppers were all asked to join the star for a toast to kick off a summer where many mandates have been lifted and COVID-19 cases have dropped to record lows.
