Two heavyweights in the music business will be participating in a virtual fundraiser for a Connecticut landmark.

Both Brad Paisley and Jimmy Buffett will be a part of the Mark Twain House and Museum's first annual virtual gala on Friday, November 6 at 8 PM.

The event will be free to stream, and donations are encouraged.

Brad Paisley is no stranger to the legend of Mark Twain, he had been a part of a 2011 project, and released a double CD, "Mark Twain, Words and Music" that was a benefit for the Missouri home Twain was raised in, plus, he and his wife, actress Kimberly Williams Paisley, even named their first son, William Huckleberry, after the famous character Huck Finn.

Here's what Brad told countryrebel.com about his fascination with Mark Twain:

It’s a reference to a spirit of adventure I hope he embodies. I can see him now — out playing in the woods, taking chances

The gala will also have other special guests including David Baldacci, Ron Chernow, Dr. Christina Greer, John Grisham, Jodi Picoult, Sophfronia Scott and others to be announced.

You can get more information on the gala, or if you would like to register to be a part of the virtual event, just visit marktwainhouse.org.
