If you like Jim Barbarie's, and Barbarie's Black Angus Grill, then I'm sure your love the new Barbarie's Grill coming soon to Danbury Fair Mall.

It's been a staple in Danbury for years, now the owners of Barbarie's Restaurants have set their sights on expanding their brand, and will soon be opening up their third location, this time in a prime spot, in the space formally occupied by Brio Tuscan Grill at the Danbury Fair Mall.

Tommy Barbarie didn't just sit around when the pandemic hit, he told newtownbee.com that he felt it was a good time to look for another location.

I fell in love with the former Brio location, which seats up to 500 patrons and has ample parking, and knew right away it was the right space. Wouldn’t you know it, the mall could not have been more willing to work with us, and before I knew it, I owned a new restaurant.

Just like the other Barbarie's locations, Barbarie's Grill will be geared towards a place the whole family can come and enjoy, and not have to spend a fortune.

In the interview, Barbarie explained that this particular concept will be a bit different than the traditional fare that his legendary steakhouses have become famous for. Through the upcoming new venture, Barbarie's Grill will reportedly focus more roasted fresh meats such as prime rib, organic chicken roasts, and roasted turkey. The comfort food will also be accompanied by healthy salads and homemade bread.

In my opinion, it's going to be pretty tough to beat the deliciousness that comes directly off of the grill at Black Angus on Eagle Rd. -- especially that 40 oz. Tomahawk Ribeye -- but as the weather is getting colder, some roasted comfort food sounds like it will certainly hit the spot too.

Something else that attracted Tommy to the location was its access to the Mall right from the restaurant.

Look for their grand opening some time in late November.
