A Netflix series is looking for background actors this month in Sullivan County.

Casting Call Looking For Local Background Actors

The Netflix series, Landline, which has been filming locally, is looking for new faces for filming.

Hudson Valley Film Commission shared a casting call this week looking for SAG and Non-Union background actors.

Filming is scheduling for April 8th, 10th and 11th for 2 different roles. They're currently looking for Casino Patrons and Racetrack VIP Guests. There isn't much detail about what shooting will entail.

However, the casting call asks that if you were already featured on Landline during this season do not submit an application for this casting call. If you do apply, mention that you are an "Upstate Local."

Tina Fey, Steve Carell Netflix Series Films in Dutchess County

The last Netflix series that filmed in the area has some pretty big names attached to it.

The Four Seasons stars Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Marco Calvani, Colman Domingo, Will Forte, Erika Henningsen, and Kerri Kenney-Silver.

According to Netflix, The Four Seasons is about "The decades-long friendship between three married couples is tested when one divorces, complicating their tradition of quarterly weekend getaways."

Stars of the series were seen filming across parts of Dutchess County during the fall of 2024. The cool part about the Hudson Valley becoming a Hollywood production hub is seeing celebs support local business.

Tina Fey and Steve Carell were spotted dining in local establishments like the Yankee Clipper Diner in Beacon.

New Hudson Valley Filmed Netflix Series Gets Release Date

After filming wrapped around November 2024, locals were patiently waiting for details about when the could see parts of the Hudson Valley on the silver screen.
