So, I guess this is the new thing? People from Shelton are going around tossing frozen water bottles at cars. I wouldn't have thought anything of it until it happened to my car.

I was driving home minding my business on Tuesday night, and boom. Something smashed into my window. Okay - what could that possibly be? So I pull over and look. The outcome was what you see above. No mirror. Front and back gone. But why? So I call the police and what do you know. Multiple reports of people going around Shelton throwing frozen water bottles at cars.

I decided to look more into this. CT Post reported that the Shelton Police are asking the public to help them identify a vehicle spotted doing this extremely dumb act. I wish I was able to see the car but a) I wasn't expecting that to happen and b) it was pitch black. Apparently this has happened to at least 8 people and the car they are looking for is a newer model GMC pickup truck.

Listen, to the people who are doing this. I know you're bored. I get it, COVID took away a lot of your fun and you've been cooped up in a house. I promise that gives you absolutely no right to be throwing frozen water bottles at random civilians cars.

When I was younger, when we were bored we'd go to a friends house or go hang out in a parking lot somewhere, but throwing stuff at people's cars? That's just not it. I promise you have better things to do then to throw stuff at moving vehicles and I have better things to do then going to get my mirror fixed.

If you guys need help with coming up with things to do that don't involve damaging other people's stuff, just let me know. I can help you out. Until then, I hope you find a better hobby and I really hope the police catch you.

For anyone with any information or if this unfortunate circumstance also happens to you, you're being asked to call the Shelton Police Department at 203-924-1554.

These Danbury gas stations have cracked the code, they don't fall into the common mistakes that make a gas station stop a headache. These are "Some of Danbury's Best Gas Stations When You Are In a Rush."
