When the remnants of Hurricane Isaias tore through our area on Tuesday afternoon, we were whacked with 40-60 MPH wind gusts for a few hours, and being in the height of summer, the heavy leaves on all of Connecticut's trees weighed the branches down, breaking them. Major damage happened on such a large scale. It's not often that you see a 60 foot tree come crashing down on your Subaru, but that's what unfortunately happened to so many people.
