A Spirit Halloween Store Will Bring Christmas Cheer This Year in Connecticut
What is the one store you think of when you think Halloween as a kid? Spirit Halloween stores. Being able to go in and pick out a costume from their walls of costumes was always the best experience. It feels like an abundance of nostalgia when I see Spirit Halloween storefronts now.
The chain also does a great job of making a name for themselves. When you start seeing their storefronts scatter around your state, you know it's about to be Halloween season. Now, Halloween isn't the only season they're about to be celebrating. News has come out that the Spirit Halloween franchise will now have select stores, 10 to be exact, that will turn into Spirit Christmas stores. What's in this for us? A Connecticut location was chosen as one of those 10.
The states chosen to turn into Spirit Christmas stores are primarily all Northeast stores -Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. According to their website, you will be able to meet Santa as well as get thousands of stocking stuffers, holiday apparel, fun gifts, unique décor, and everything you'll need to get you started for Christmas time. The Connecticut location that will be turning to Christmas Spirit is the Waterford store located in the Crystal Mall - 850 Hartford Turnpike.
There is no set opening date yet, but I will be sure to update this once we have one. Honestly, this is such a smart idea of the franchise. Starting it with only 10 stores to see how customers react is a great way to test if they think this can be successful for other holidays Since they are such a staple for Halloween, I think they'll successfully achieve what they are trying to do.
I'm very excited that a Connecticut store was chosen as one of the Guinea pigs. Looks like I'll be making a trip to the Crystal Mall this holiday season.
