A Slew of Your Favorite Actors are Bringing Their Movies to Connecticut

If Caddyshack, Napoleon Dynamite, and High Fidelity are among your favorite movies, the stars of all of them are coming to Connecticut, and you might have a chance to ask those burning questions about your favorite scenes.

With the writer's strike seemingly going on through the Summer, stage and screen actors have to find a way to make a few bucks. I love that some are basically touring while giving screenings of their most famous movies, followed by a Q&A with the attendees. Foxwoods Resort Casino has just announced two of these events.

Chevy Chase will be appearing at a screening and Q&A of Caddyshack on Saturday, July 15, 2023 in the Great Cedar Showroom. Chase has appeared at Foxwoods just recently, he did a showing/Q&A of Christmas Vacation, and followed that up by lighting up their big tree. I was watching it live on Channel 3 at the time, and it appeared that Chevy was in rare form.

John Cusack will bring his movie High Fidelity, and do a post-screening Q&A on Friday, October 6, 2023, also to the Great Cedar Showroom at Foxwoods. Cusack has toured the Northeast before with Say Anything, but he'll bring High Fidelity this time around.

That very same night, October 6, the Ridgefield Playhouse will bring the three stars of Napoleon Dynamite in for a screening/Q&A. Napoleon, Pedro, and Uncle Rico - Jon Heder, Effran Ramirez, and Jon Gries, will appear together for our entertainment.

All three are among my favorite movies, I'd rather go to one of these types of events than a concert any day.
