A Connecticut Favorite Was Named One of America’s Best Classic Diners

You can truly never go wrong with a diner.

They are the perfect place to go when you don't know what you're craving, but you just want something. Their menus are always insanely large and there's a bit of food for everyone.

Connecticut has a lot of diners that are worth the hype. Some are basic, but some are insanely delicious. Blue Colony Diner in Newtown is one of my favorites and always worth the mention, and Olympia Diner was highlighted as being one of the best retro diners around the country.

Just recently, Love Food put out a list of the Best Classic Diners in America and a Connecticut favorite landed on that list. Elm Street Diner in Stamford has caught the eye of so many people around the state for their funky, elegant and over-the-top diner food choices. They have a section on their menu dedicated to "social media superstars" and it has all of their extravagant foods that have gone viral on the internet.

While they are known around Connecticut, it looks like they are grabbing national attention as well. I'm happy to see more Connecticut places get national love. Even though our pizza is good, we are way more than just that.
