The pandemic gave some of the country's biggest retailers an opportunity to alter their stance on holiday shopping and many did. If we're lucky we get 70-75 of these holidays in out lifetime. There is no good reason to spend any of them shopping. Thanksgiving is about being with family, watching football, sleeping on the couch, eating too much and maybe drinking some wine. How is shopping better than any of those things?
