TGT asked 2,000 Americans that question and was able to break down the results by state. What did they learn? Connecticut is seeing purple, blue, red and gold.

Not Travis Kelce, the answer is Taylor Swift. Not only was Taylor #1 in the Nutmeg State but she was America's #1 choice for next year's Super Bowl. The study says:

"There’s no doubt about it: Taylor Swift is leading America’s wish list for the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime show. America’s sweetheart is currently smashing records with her international Eras Tour and keeping tongues wagging with her romance with Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce. But it seems America isn’t close to being tired of Swift, and would love to see her take center stage during the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2025."

Here are the Top 5:

1. Taylor Swift

2. Metallica

3. Eminem

4. Post Malone

Why does this mean Connecticut is "seeing purple?" I'm told that it is Tay-Tay's favorite color. In fact, she uses a lot of references to color in her music and her fans love easter eggs so I planted one in the headline.  I'm just happy to see that Americans have not given up on Rock music, look at Metallica right up there behind America's sweetheart that is not so bad.

P.S. I felt bad for Usher this year, this dude is an international superstar but people cared more that Taylor was in the building than they did about him performing. People would rather watch Taylor shotgun white wine that see him sing and dance. For what it is worth, I love Usher and he killed it.
